Assistive technology tools fall into one of three categories:
Low Tech: no electric parts
Mid Tech: electric, but not digital
High Tech: digital components
Low Tech: no electric parts
Mid Tech: electric, but not digital
High Tech: digital components
Low Tech AT
Low Tech Assistive Technology involves adaptations that do not use any electronic components. There are relatively cheaper than electronic and digital tools, and are often re-purposed tools and items that were not originally intended to be assistive technology.
